A good price and good shipping time. An easy. simple and basic kit to learn the techniques of spool knitting jewelry,, It gives you the basic tools to make jewelry and use those tools and lessons to advance to bigger and more elaborate projects. I liked it very much and would buy other kits in the same line...Kids or adults can use it!!
I bought this for my daughter. She really enjoys making all types of bracelets and stuff. Lots of thread and ideas to keep her busy.
This product is pretty good. When I got it, everything was here, and I was very eager to start making things. The book has instructions on how to crochet before learning to knit with the spool. There are tips on how to tie ends together, seal ends (you use nail polish to keep the ends from fraying), and a couple others. Then it shows how to knit with the spool, and has different patterns you can try with the many different colors of string and beads it provides. It doesn't have enough string to make many bracelets with the 4-spoke stitch, which was a disappointment to me. It was very hard to choose which string to use with the certain colors of beads. 8) All in all, it's a (as I've said before) pretty good kit. 8)
I think this is a great book, I think it's worth every penny. Although one might become tired with the bead inserts and the struggling to properly handle the spool while at work, I think it's not really the book's fault, so I can't say I've got any complaints about that. As far as the quality and selection criteria for the materials provided along with the book, I think they're rather satisfactory. The book pages themselves are fun to read and look at, from ingenous drawings of every existent step to making each piece to pictures of how the bracelets and rings will look like in the end. Overall, I don't think I have complaints about this instructing book, and i exhort all those interested to buy it.
My sister gave my daughter a knitting nancy and my daughter was having fun with it but we had no projects. This book solved that problem. We have made several bracelets together and they are really cute. They have been fun for both of us to make. My 9 year old daughter has made some and I have for myself, too. They instructions are clear and easy and the pictures are a great help - shows you exactly how everything is done. This was worth the purchase.
My daughter and I love this book. The instructions are very easy to follow, and the pictures in the book are great. The projects are easy and fun, and the resulting jewelry is very nice looking. There are enough beads and string to do lots of projects. The kit includes everything you will need to do the projects, except scissors. This book would be great for a younger child or a teenager.
This is a well made kit. It is a little more complicated then I thought it was going to be. I am not sure If it will discourage my granddaughter from using it. It's one of her Christmas presents so time will tell.
